Can I appeal the grade of my assessment?

Yes. If you believe there was an issue with how your assessment was conducted or scored, you may submit a formal appeal within 10 working days of receiving your Diploma Statement of Results. There is a €100 appeal fee. 

Your appeal will be heard and reviewed by an independent Assessment Board at their next quarterly meeting. You will be notified of the result in writing within 5 working days after the meeting. If the appeal is upheld by the Assessment Board, the fee will be refunded and your Diploma grade adjusted.
