# Do I become a graduate of The Corporate Governance Institute or of Birkbeck, University of London?

## You are a graduate and award holder of The Corporate Governance Institute. Birkbeck, University of London provides accreditation of the programme - they are not the awarding body.

You are a graduate of The Corporate Governance Institute. The Corporate Governance Institute is the awarding body - it designs, delivers, assesses, and certifies all diploma qualifications.

Birkbeck, University of London provides accreditation of the programmes, confirming that they meet the academic standards associated with FHEQ Level 5. This accreditation adds significant credibility to your qualification, but Birkbeck is not the awarding body and you are not a Birkbeck graduate.
