What counts as extenuating circumstances for a diploma extension?
Extenuating circumstances include serious illness, bereavement, maternity or paternity leave, and redundancy - all covered under our formal Extenuating Circumstances Policy.
- Serious illness - your own or that of an immediate family member
- Bereavement
- Maternity or paternity leave
- Redundancy or significant change in employment circumstances
